The holidays are great for many reasons, but they can take a toll on healthy habits.  Given the amount of travel most people have to endure in the 4 week period from Thanksgiving to Christmas, it can be hard to maintain an exercise routine.  But being on the road doesn’t mean you have to forfeit your fitness habits, it just means you have to make some adjustments.

Here are some tips for how to workout on the road:

1. National studios: There are plenty fitness studios that are national chains, making it easier to find a fitness class of your choice while you’re away from home.

What to try: Core Power Yoga, Equinox, Pure Barre

2.  Streaming services: Subscribing to a streaming fitness service is a great option for many reasons, especially because it can travel with you.  If you don’t want to or don’t have time to find a nearby studio, try one of these subscription workouts.

What to try: Tracey Anderson, Daily Burn, Ballet Beautiful

3.  Workout apps: Similar to streaming services, apps offer the convenience of being able to access workouts from any location.  The best part is most apps are free or inexpensive.

What to try: Daily Burn, Nike + Training Club, Pocket Yoga
